Old Fashioned Tea Cakes
  • 3 eggs
  • 1cup butter softened
  • 1cup maple or date sugar
  • 3cups to your health sprouted flour
  • 1tsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, blending well.
  3. Stir baking powder into flour and add slowly until a nice dough forms.
  4. Roll dough on a floured surface to 1/4–inch thickness.
  5. Cut dough into circles or use a cookie cutter.
  6. Place on lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 11–13 minutes, or until edges brown. Simple and delicious.
