SUPER EASY & FAST Sprouted Cornmeal Biscuits
Ingredients
  • 1 1/3cups sprouted flour (I like sorghum)
  • 1/3cup sprouted corn meal
  • 2teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1/2teaspoons sea salt
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 6tablespoons cold organic butter, diced
  • 2/3cup organic half & half
  • 1tablespoon honey
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Whisk together flour, corn meal, baking powder, salt, and cayenne. Work in butter with your fingers until crumbly.
  3. Stir in half-&-half and honey. Let sit 5 minutes.
  4. Pat dough into a 1/2“ thick square on a floured surface and cut into 8 pieces. Shape into rounds and brush with extra half-&-half.
  5. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve with lots of butter.
